Dive Center
Our Dive Center is located at the far end of the beach and inside you will find your own personal storage area where your dive equipment will be kept during your stay.
We offer three guided boat dives per day, usually 2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon, with the option of an additional sunset or night dive. Best of all, we do not limit our dives to the standard 60 mins, as we know for many of you, including us, that is just not long enough!
Our Dive Team will take care of your equipment and clean it for you at the end of each day and before you leave us. There are also rinse tanks for your camera equipment as well as showers for you to rinse off between dives.
Rental gear is available for hire, but we have limited stock so please let us know in advance your requirements so we can prepare everything for your arrival.
We use 12 liter aluminum DIN tanks with INT adapters.
At this time we do NOT have Nitrox available, so as always we recommend safe and sensible diving at all times.
Dive Safety
Triton Bay is remote to the extreme. Although we have emergency oxygen and first aid kits available, guests must be aware that the nearest decompression chamber is in Manado or Ambon (which are day’s travel away) and the nearest hospital is an hour and a half away in Kaimana. As such, SAFETY must be our most important consideration and we will insist on the following rules:
– No Decompression diving.
– Safety stop at 50 bar.
– Max dive time: 70 mins (unless otherwise agreed prior to the dive).
– All divers must have his/her own dive computer.
– Divers will not be allowed to dive beyond their certification, please bring your certification cards.
– Practice good buoyancy when diving and do not touch the reefs or any marine animals.
– Divers should be aware of their physical condition when diving (ie., properly rested and hydrated) and have the right to opt out of a dive for any reason whatsoever.
– Dive insurance is mandatory for all guests. If you do not have dive insurance, we can recommend Divers Alert Network (DAN) since they handle insurance and can arrange an evacuation if necessary.
